/ Off-Line Fuel Monitoring
"Off-Line" Fuel
monitoring system - is the most inexpensive and cost
effective solution to make a full control of fuel usage
and fuel consumption of vehicle or
others special
technics (road, building, construction, maintenance,
earth moving, agricultural machines etc.).
In general,
"Off-Line" Fuel
monitoring system consist of the next three main
components:

Fuel Level Sensor;

Fuel Data Logger;

Monitoring Station (PC
computer with fuel monitoring software).

Main
Components

Fuel Level Sensor |
Fuel level sensor make
measurement of fuel level in fuel tank and send this
data to fuel data logger.
It can be Electronic Fuel
level Probe with analog output GuardMagic FLPa or
Digital Fuel Level Sensor GuardMagic DFLS with
RS-485 output interface.
In simple version of fuel
monitoring system also is possible to use the regular
vehicle fuel level sensor (with analog output), but it
will give more high fuel measurement error.

Fuel Data Logger |
Fuel Data Logger receive
and store in its internal memory the data from Fuel
Level Sensor (make the "fuel history").
In advanced system Fuel
Data Logger also store the others additional information
from others sensor and GPS coordinates, that allow to
add many additional function to the system.
Then the vehicle returns
to a predetermined point, stored data removed to a computer for evaluation.

Monitoring Station |
Monitoring Station consist
of personal computer and special monitoring software.
Monitoring station collect
the fuel data (and others information) from different
Fuel Loggers, store this data in PC hard drive, make
analyzing of this data and generate the special reports.

on
"Off-Line" Fuel
monitoring system the GPS (satellite system of
coordinates definition) function, that allow to
add to the Fuel Monitoring System many additional function.
