DIESEL GENERATOR MONOTORING:

               1. Key Features:

           1.1 In general:

  • wireless data transmitting by GSM/GPRS network;
  • "real time" monitor fuel level (fuel volume) in fuel tanks;

          2.1 Main Components:
 
  • GuardMagic  FSM

Monitoring Module

GuardMagic FSM2 module  in full automatic mode collect information from Fuel Level Sensors, additional sensprs and send this information by GSM/GPRS network to monitoring station.
 
  • GuardMagic DLLS1a, GuardMagic DLLS1b fuel level sensor
In fuel tank installed GuardMagic DLLS1 fuel level sensors.
 
GuardMagic DLLS1 sensor detects the level of the fuel in the fuel tank, processing data and sends the information about current fuel level in the form of digital code (EIA-485 communication interface) to monitoring module (GuardMagic FSM)
 
GuardMagic DLLS1a - fuel level sensor with ONE cable. Install in the end of communication line or if use only one sensor in communication line.
GuardMagic DLLS1b - fuel level sensor with TWO cables. Retransmit communication interface (for easy sensor serial connection).
 
  • Connection Cable
For connection fuel level sensor to main module (GuardMagic FSM).
(Cable length can be up to some hundreds meters)
 
Cable GM4.016: for easy connection module GuardMagic FSM  to first fuel level sensor in communication bus (GuardMagic DLLS1b).
 
Cable GM4.017: for easy connection second fuel level sensor (Guardmagic DLLS1a) to first fuel level sensor in communication bus GuardMagic DLLS1b.
     
  • Power Source
Power source for powering main module and fuel level sensors
  • "Operation sensor"
As usual standard low power AC/DC converter (or transformer + relay).
Sensor input connected to AC output of diesel generator.
Sensor output connected to logical input of GuardMagic FSL (FSM) module.
 
  • "RPM sensor"
Allow to connect pulse RPM sensor.
Count the revolution of engine.
Connect to GuardMagi FSM module "pulses Input".
Also can be used like "Operation Sensor".
(GuardMagic company don't produce RPM sensor)
 
  • "Temperature sensor"
Digital temperature sensors based on 1-wire digital communication interface by Maxim/Dallas semiconductor.
Allow to measure temperature of engine, air etc.
GuardMagic FSM module can support up to seven temperature sensors.
Digital temperature sensor GuardMagic DTS series allow to measure temperature of air.
 
  • "Logical sensors"
Logical sensor has only two output levels: High or Low (or contact: Open or Close)
 
  • Communication network (GSM/GPRS + Internet)
Communication channel for the sending information from  module to Monitoring  (Personal Computer).
 
  • Monitoring Station
Monitoring station:
- collect all information from modules, store this information in data base,
- analysis received information,
- generate the series of special reports and diagrams;
- monitor fuel consumption, fueling and fuel drain.

Monitoring Station (monitoring service) consist of server (or personal computer) and special monitoring software:
 
VehicleStation or FleetStation office PC based monitoring software
or
PowerTrace WEB monitoring service.
